More About Us

At The Midland Rhubarb Company we specialise in the production of the highest-quality pot grown rhubarb sets and plants for the commercial grower.

Our 5-litre pot-grown plants offer the commercial grower and retailer the opportunity to plant or sell rhubarb plants for 12 months of the year. This enables the grower to establish new plantations of rhubarb in ideal planting conditions, rather than the poor winter field conditions associated with planting tradition sets.

The benefits of using rhubarb grown by The Midland Rhubarb Company include:

  • Our plants are very rapid to establish.

  • 100% survival rate.

  • Reduced production time.

  • Easy to handle and plant.

Based at our family-run nursery, Minster Nursery, in Nottinghamshire, we have over 60 years of experience in the production of rhubarb, and are here to help revolutionise the growing of rhubarb in the UK.
